1ST CENTRAL announces new partnership with Sussex Cricket
March 15, 2016
We’re delighted to announce that 1ST CENTRAL will have the naming rights to Sussex County Cricket ground for the next three seasons.
This means that the ground’s new official name will be 'The 1ST CENTRAL County Ground, Hove’, with the sponsorship running until the end of the 2018 season.
Andy James, our UK CEO, said: “As a large employer in Sussex, it’s of huge importance to build relationships with the community, and also with a team that has a long and recognised history in cricket and strong community ties.
“This partnership is something that really excites us. We look forward to seeing some great cricket matches at The 1ST CENTRAL County Ground in Hove.”
Zac Toumazi, Chief Executive of Sussex Cricket added: “Our ongoing development as a club has proved a significant factor in being able to secure another major long-term naming rights partner and we are delighted to be able to welcome 1ST CENTRAL to Hove.
“It is particularly pleasing to see an up and coming Sussex based organisation like 1ST CENTRAL become a part of the Sussex Cricket family and we look forward to working together for the benefit of both parties.”
Kicking off in a few weeks’ time, the first competitive home game at the 'The 1ST CENTRAL County Ground, Hove’ will see Sussex battle against Essex in the Specsavers County Championship from Sunday 17th April.
