We launch our charity auction to raise funds for St Peter & St James Hospice

We have today launched our charity auction, which aims to raise £7,000 for local charity St Peters & St James Hospice. The donated lots up for grabs include tickets to see The Maccabees or The Vaccines, spa days, an iPad Mini 2, and many other items such as clothing, books, event tickets, electronics, experience days, jewellery, and more.
St Peter & St James Hospice, a charity that aims to make a positive difference to those facing death or bereavement in Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Lewes and Uckfield, is our Charity of the Year. The auction is part of our year-long campaign to raise a total of £40,000 for the hospice. It follows a recent fundraising abseil event where more than 50 employees scaled our office in Haywards Heath and raised over £2,000 towards the cause.
The lots for the charity auction were donated by 1ST CENTRAL and other generous businesses and individuals.
Commenting on the fundraising event, Andy James, UK CEO, said: “As one of the largest employers in Haywards Heath we have a commitment to give back to the local community and are proud to be supporting St Peters & St James Hospice this year. The charity does some fantastic work in the local community and we’re coming very close to reaching our £40,000 target. We hope this campaign will help us reach our goal and raise as much for the hospice as possible.”
